Before they reach 5 months of age, puppies go through a key period of socialization during which appropriate experiences and training will help them develop basic manners, good habits, and clear boundaries that will last throughout their lives. Early training also helps prevent unwanted behavior such as jumping, begging, barking, mouthing, pulling, and aggression. Early interaction with many different people, places, and dogs will help your puppy grow up confident and friendly.
